{"id":41,"date":"2011-12-07T22:39:59","date_gmt":"2011-12-07T21:39:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/rytmisk.net\/?p=41"},"modified":"2011-12-07T22:40:59","modified_gmt":"2011-12-07T21:40:59","slug":"software-for-cloud-based-music-creation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/rytmisk.net\/index.php\/2011\/12\/07\/software-for-cloud-based-music-creation\/","title":{"rendered":"&#8220;Software&#8221; for cloud based music creation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have now done a search for &#8220;free&#8221; cloud based software for music creation and found quite a lot actually:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a title=\"A simple but decent drum machin based on Hydrogen\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rinki.net\/pekka\/monkey\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">\u00a0Monkey Machine: <\/a>A simple but decent drum machine based on Hydrogen<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"An easy to use sample based program\" href=\"http:\/\/www.aviary.com\/online\/music-creator\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">Aviary&#8217;s Music Creator<\/a> &#8211; ROC which is an easy to use, sequencer software.<\/li>\n<li><a title=\"A program very much like garage band\" href=\"http:\/\/www.aviary.com\/online\/audio-editor\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"broken_link\">Aviary&#8217;s Myna<\/a> &#8211; which is an easy to use multitrack recorder and sample DAW (similar to Garage Band from Apple in many ways)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/soundation.com\/studio\" target=\"_blank\">Soundation<\/a> &#8211; which is a loop and sample focused online music studio like Myna<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.audiotool.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Audiotool<\/a> &#8211; which is a music creation platform much like Propellerhead&#8217;s reason &#8211; focused on electronic music<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.audiosauna.com\/studio\/\" target=\"_blank\">Audiosauna<\/a> &#8211; which is a simple midi sequenser with a built in sampler as well<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rocudo.com\/studio\" target=\"_blank\">Rocudo<\/a> &#8211; which is a sample loop based tool for live remixing<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ujam.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">UJam<\/a> &#8211; which is a very cool idea. You upload or sing\/play into the program and it analyses your audio and generates accompaniment.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.noteflight.com\" target=\"_blank\">Noteflight<\/a> &#8211; which is a cloud based and very capable notation software<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of the above are free and should be useful for a music teacher I assume.
