Predatory Journals

Just a short shout out: Before submitting to a journal that has been found on the internet, and where you do not really know the editor or board members, please check Beall’s list of predatory journals. A predoatory journal is a journal that exploits researchers by claiming to be open access, requesting a fee for publishing and having no quality control whatsoever. These journals are trying to destroy the credibility of academia for the sake of quick profit. Here we can even find a list of predatory conferences.
